Rainforest Restaurant,Dubai Mall

Rainforest restaurant was established in the year 2009 in Dubai. I do not understand why many have written bad reviews about this place..If it is just for food we could go anywhere since Dubai mall is a hub of restaurants but this is a different scenario where you have entertainment and food at the same time.It is very conveniently located in the Mall with the entrance next to Aquarium.

This review is solely based on my experience. I was neither manipulated nor was I biased to write it. .Hats off to the team who tried to bring an experience of a Rainforest in the proximity of a Mall.I love everything about the place-Ambience,Hospitality,Food,Entertainment all were on spot. They have placed a lot of animal models around and they come into action every 15 to 20 min.Other than that they have also added some light and sound effects. The staffs were also very energetic and also did some magic tricks while they attend the guests, especially for kids.
Moving on to the dishes:
We ordered two of the appetizers.
Rainforest pita quesadillas which had grilled chicken, roasted peppers, caramelized onions and melted cheese in pita bread. It is served with sour cream and pico de gallo. It tasted awesome but only thing was it was bit heavy for us.

Rainforest pita quesadillas

The next was Awesome appetizer adventure which had a variety of starters such as Chimi cha chas(A mexican dish),Spinach & Artichoke dip with tortilla chips, cheese sticks and chicken tenders served along with guacamole, marinara and coconut curry sauce.
Chimi cha chas is quite new to me.It is deep fried burritos and the best among starters.
Chicken tenders were also good.

For the mains we had :
Blue Mountain chicken sandwich which had grilled chicken piece, swiss cheese, bacon, herbs etc. This was an average dish.

Fish and chips served along with coleslaw, fries and tartar sauce.

Rasta Pasta which had Pasta in alfredo sauce with chicken, pesto, broccoli, red peppers and spinach.Another dish which I loved.

They also had pretty refreshing drinks as well.Among these we chose
Blue Nile made of blue curacao syrup, lemon juice, sprite and few cherries. My personal favourite !!!

Cheetah Rita but it was nothing related to the name ,just margarita and our choice of fruit juice and we selected mango.

We ended our expedition with a Sparkling volcano which was a gigantic cake in the form of a peak and icecream underneath with whipped cream, caramel and chocolate sauce. We four of us could easily share among each other and our two kids too got to taste it.

We thoroughly enjoyed every minute spent here.So I feel its definitely worth the money.
