Blue Sapphire is one of the restaurants which is conveniently located at JLT serving fusion of Indo-Chinese cuisine.Chinese touch can be seen all lover the interiors and the outdoor area overlooking the lakes is perfect for the present climate.The staffs were quite friendly too.
Moving on,we started with our soup and we decide to go with a tom yum soup.The flavors were perfect with right amount of spices.
In the starters,many were having good opinion about the drums of heaven and we decided have it.It is basically chicken drumsticks in different flavors.The pieces were cooked to perfection and sauces were also good.I loved the szechwan followed by manchurian.
Next in the line was crispy chicken balls.It is minced chicken deep fried perfectly done with less spices ,a good option for kids.
Crispy spinach& prawns- One of the favourite among all.The presentation itself was very tempting.Prawns cooked with sauces and crispy spinach were just out of the world.
Chicken taro nest-Again a very well presented dish.The chicken cubes in medium spicy sauce and tasted good as well.
Chinese chopsuey-we decided to go for the chicken.They brought the crispy noodles separately.It was very bland though.When we enquired about it,the staff said it is normally like that with less spices.
Among mains we also got one beef sizzler.The beef was well done but it had a smokey taste towards the end.It comes along with rice or noodles and we decided to have the noodles.
Even though we were full we didn’t want to leave without dessert so decided to have the crispy thick noodles with two scoops of icecream.Its a good option.
