Avocado- quinoa salad


In my last post, I have shared a recipe of breakfast bowl using quinoa. Now I’m sharing with you another recipe Avocado-quinoa salad which is very easy to make.
We can always keep cooked quinoa and refrigerate for 2 to 3 days and use it for different recipes.

  • 1 cup sliced red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro (or any herb of choice)
  • 1 cup chopped cucumber
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1 cup cooked quinoa-(used here is Indiagate brand)
  • 1 large avocado, diced
  • A drizzle of olive oil (I used about a tablespoon)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt + pepper to taste


Mix all the ingredients and add lemon juice, olive oil and enough amount of salt and pepper and set aside. Serve after 30 minutes.
