The Grub House is one of the restaurant in International city with a decent ambience and a good place to dine in with family. We went here for a blogger’s session put together by NNK. We were greeted by Ms Risha who is also the owner of the restaurant and she did explain to us in detail about the place. They specialize in north Indian and Indo chinese cuisine too.
We called for lemon mint to start with. It was pretty refreshing.
Moving on to the starters, we were served some of the signature platters as suggested by Ms Risha.
Salim ki pasand- It was a mixed platter with several non-veg kebabs. Being a hardcore carnivore , I quite loved it.
Anarkali ki pasand- The names were quite interesting! This is a mixed kebab platter with an assortment of paneer, baby potatoes etc.
Next was my favorite Sagar-E-Sultan which was a seafood platter of prawns, fish etc. The prawns were cooked to perfection with the right spices.
Among chinese starter , we got to try schezwan chicken which was pretty good too.
Tandoori chicken- Another favorite starter with soft pieces of chicken perfectly marinated and grilled. The spice level was also right.
Moving on to the main course, we tried Matka chicken, Tangdi kebab lababdar,sunheri chicken, Chicken masala bombay biryani.
We quite enjoyed the biryani which was done pretty well.
Schezwan noodles was a bit let down as it was lacking some flavors.
The most exciting part,Desserts!! We tried both Gulab jamun and Ras malai. They were made in-house and was really delicious and we did enjoy.
Verdict: A decent family restaurant with courteous staffs, delicious food and great offers for university students as well.
