Zpizza , Bay square

Zpizza , a Californian based pizza joint opened its second outlet in Bay square after the success of their first branch in Al Barsha. It is much more spacious than the one in Barsha and also got an outdoor seating area perfect for this weather. The staffs were quite friendly and helped us in choosing our dishes. They have an open kitchen where we get to see them making pizzas. They have the choice of normal, wheat and gluten free base in pizzas.

I started with a cafe latte. It was hot and perfect for the weather. Moving on, we tried the zaatar chips with labneh dip and Zwings with chipotle sauce for starters. The Zaatar chips were really crispy and the dip was perfect combination for it. Zwings was fried right in front of us and tossed in the sauce. I really loved it. From salads, I tried the Cobb salad with beef bacon, gorgonzola cheese, egg , chicken breast. It was really crunchy and the dressing was great too.

From pizzas , we tried half and half pizza. One with wheat  base and another normal base. I tried the Santa Fe and roasted garlic chicken in one. Another one with Pepperoni topping and Z American. I really love pepperoni and Z American . In the garlic chicken, the pungent flavor of garlic was overpowering. Santa Fe was good but it was little too spicy.

Finally ended with peach iced tea and chocolate pastry . A great one to end with. I really loved the concept of healthy pizza where they use organic tomato sauce and part skimmed cheese. It is the best place to have guilt free pizza in Dubai.
